Wester Ross, Strathpeffer and Lochalsh Area Place Plan

30 October 2024

In the light of the recent registration of the Black Isle Local Place Plan and ongoing work to establish a body and procedures to take the plan forward, it is interesting to have sight of an Area Place Plan, currently in the draft and consultation stage for Wester Ross, Strathpeffer and Lochalsh, which constitute Highland Council electoral ward 5.

This is contained in a recent blog posted by Gairloch and Loch Ewe Action Forum (GALE), as one of a regular series they publish with news of local events and activities, which has taken the place of a conventional newsletter.  Here is a link to download  the draft plan .

An internet search doesn't recognise Area place plans, but we tracked down some information via the Highland Council website.
