NH&I Climate Hub expands coverage

30 December 2022

From the Hub newsletter  12 December

We’re very excited today to reveal that we’re expanding the area we cover to include Lochaber & Skye!  We’ve been in discussion with Scottish Government who fund our operations and the community groups within these areas for a while now and are so pleased to be able to officially offer our services to communities in these areas.

The hub has consequently cjanged its name amd logo from North Highlands & Islands . . to Highlands and Islands Climate Hub.

The expansion of services also means that we’re looking for a new team member to join us in early 2023!  It’s hugely important for us to have staff embedded within the communities they serve which is why we’re excited to recruit a Senior Development Officer who will cover the South West Highland region.  This is a full time opportunity, however for the right candidate(s) we would be willing to look at job shares and flexible working. The candidates will reside in Lochaber or Skye area. If you’d like to enquire informally, please email our Project Manager Joan Lawrie who will be able to tell you all about the position.
