Training for budding crofters
28 August 2011
The Scottish Crofting Federation is running a 10 week induction course aimed at new and aspiring crofters, and anyone interested in learning more about the subject. The evening sessions range from crofting law and history to animal welfare and marketing – a synopsis of the course content is available here. The local course director is TBI member Toni Clark, known to many through the community garden at her Muir of Ord croft, Loch na Mhoid. The sessions are being held at Dingwall Academy on Monday evenings from 7 to 9 pm, starting on 26th September. For more information, and to book, contact Toni at toniclark2@gmail.com.
