FASCINATING VISIT TO HERB NURSERY
21 August 2010
Grow North participants had a real treat recently visiting the wonderful Poyntsfield Herb Nursery in the north of the Black Isle. Run by Duncan Ross, and with over 400 varieties of herbs, they learned how he made his organic compost as well as how he collects seeds from the plants. By using only organic compost Duncan keeps his plants healthy and free from pests and diseases. It was a great opportunity for people taking part to see a professionally run garden in a most beautiful setting.
