GROW NORTH OFF TO A FLYING START
26 May 2010
THE first Grow North training days saw glorious sunshine and blue skies.
A broad range of partipants of all ages learned about the first stages of producing your own delicious food; soil, planting seeds and potting of plants.
At Fortrose Leisure Centre work began on digging out beds of a new community garden, and a range of crops, including potatoes and courgettes, were planted.
Sunday saw the action move to Netherton Community Garden near Culbokie.
The next session at Loch Na Mhoid Commmunity garden near Muir of Ord is fully booked. Details will be released shortly of the next events taking place.
