Gairloch group wins community award
10 November 2023
We have noted that the Gairloch and Loch Ewe Action Forum, known as GALE, has won the 'Celebrating Thriving Communities' Category at the Highlands and Islands Thistle Awards sponsored by Highland Council and the Royal Bank of Scotland. The award was presented at a ceremony at the Drumossie Hotel on 10 November, and is a great achievement for the west coast group.
We set up an exchange of newsletters with GALE in 2018, but have not heard from them since the beginning of lockdown in March 2020, so we are now on the process of trying to re-establish the newsletter exchange.
