Transition summit - Making sense of the Climate Emergency
04 March 2021, Starts: 19:00, Ends: 21:00
Thursday 4 March 7.00 - 9.00
What is the current state of play in the movements pushing for deep and meaningful action on climate change? What does the best science available to us tell us about our likelihood of success and how we might campaign most skillfully?
We will be joined by Michael Mann, one of the world’s leading climate scientists and author of ‘The New Climate War’, Anna Bullen from Zero Carbon Britain, Lola Fayokun from UK Student Climate Network and writer, actor and climate activist Sam Knights to try to get a clear picture of where we are, what climate action looks and feels like and what appear to be the most skillful and promising ways forward.
To connect, discuss and carry on conversations on this topic after this session join this group.
