You are invited to an online reflective action event on Tuesday 30 June 2020 10.30 - 12.30 Online by Zoom
Organised by UK and Ireland Regional Centres of Expertise in education for sustainable development (RCEs) in partnership with the Schumacher Institute for Sustainable Systems.
It has been said ‘If we can respond to the pandemic with big social changes why can’t we do the same for climate?’
This event aims to:
- reflect on where we are with climate action now, we are all suffering the health, social and economic effects of the pandemic
- draw out the lessons from the pandemic response and societal learning taking place
- consider what we can take from the current situation to help with raising climate awareness and action and what might be the threats
- discuss how we might work towards a more effective COP 26 in 2021
- discuss and start to develop co-operation and next steps on climate action for the European RCE network
