Potato Day 2025 > markets
TBI's Potato Day on 1 March was as successful as ever, helped by a fine day, plenty of willing volunteers and impeccable organisation. Thanks are due particularly to Julie Gibson, principal organiser of the event, Trish McKeggie, who performs the critical task of ordering the commercially-sourced potatoes, and Penny Hepburn and her helpers who managed the excellent cafe.
We would also like to thank the local growers and wholesaler who kindly donate additional supplies, and of course all the volunteers who helped in various capacities before and on the day.
Potatoes left over after the main event will be on sale at Black Isle community markets.
