Resolis Community Arts Fiddle and harp evening

13 December 2024

Friday 13 December     7.30    Resolis Memorial Hall

Catriona Mackay & Chris Stout

Chris, fiddle, & Catriona, harp, have catapulted the music of these very traditionally scottish instruments into the contemporary era of music making.  The cloth woven from a 30 year collaboration interweaves glorious soundscapes with music of breathtakingly simplicity.

Virtuosic & cinematic, their music charts a unique and distinctive rythm and harmonic terrain.  Their resulting dynamic and adventurous sound transcends genre, yet remains rooted in the intense, dramatic and rugged landscapes of Dundonian Catriona’s & Fair Isler, Chris’s homes.

Chris & Catriona are thrilled to be bringing their work “Glen Shee” to
Resolis Memorial Hall on 13th December 2024, 7:30 pm.
