BIHS Spring Plant Sale
10 May 2025, Starts: 11:00, Ends: 13:00
Saturday 10 May 11.00 - 1.00 Gordon Memorial Hall Rosemarkie
Graham Sullivan, Secretary of the Black Isle Horticultural Society, writes
Things are really moving in the garden now, and it’s less than two months until our Plant Sale. It’s on Saturday May 10th from 11am until 1pm, outside on the grass at the Gordon Memorial Hall in Rosemarkie. As always, we’ll have lots of interesting, locally-grown plants for you to come along and buy at very reasonable prices.
The sale is an important fund-raising event for the Society, so we’re also very grateful for any donations to the Sale. If you’re splitting herbaceous plants, could you pot up some of the surplus for us? If you’re sowing seeds, could you sow a few extra? Or if you’ve got any other plants that you’ve kept because you couldn’t find a place for them but didn’t want to throw them out, could you pass them on?
If you need pots to plant up any donations, let us know and we should be able to provide them, or if you’ve got surplus pots, we can make use of them. We can also provide labels for you to name the plants. Plants in good condition, weed-free and labelled, will sell best.
