Human Rights Day of Action

10 December 2024

Tuesday 10 December  10.00  St Giles' Cathedral  Edinburgh

Nourish Scotland  are marking Human Rights Day of Action with a march and demonstration in Edinburgh.

Earlier this year the Scottish Government dropped their plan to recognise our human rights in law.  On Human Rights Day we will be gathering at Holyrood to demand that the Human Rights Bill is reintroduced into their programme of work.  For years now we’ve been told that the right to food would have to wait to be incorporated as part of the Human Rights Bill.  It’s time for the Government to deliver on their promise.

Join us for the march and demo on Tuesday 10th December:

  • Gather at St Giles - 10am
  • Royal Mile March - 11am
  • Holyrood demo - 12 pm
  • Speakers and soup - 1pm
