TBI AGM 2021 Glachbeg and online - report

26 October 2021, Starts: 18:30, Ends: 21:00

Tuesday 26 October   6.30   Glachbeg Croft and online

TBI's 2021 AGM was held on 26 October, with eight members enjoying a pot-luck meal and attending the meeting in person at Glachbeg Croft, and a further nine joining the meeting via Zoom - disappointing numbers as usual for an organisation with 157 members and a newsletter readership of 419.

The hybrid format was mainly successful, though there was a problem with the online video freezing at one stage.

The business of the meeting consisted of approving the minutes of last year's meeting; illustrated presentations by Convenor Julian Paren and Treasurer Martin Sherring; an appreciation of the work of retiring directors Jimmie and Penny Hepburn, who have moved away; and the re-election of the remaining directors - Sheila Currie, Julie Gibson, Peter Moffatt, Julian Paren, Martin Sherring and Anne Thomas.

A plea for others to offer themselves for election met with no response.  New directors are sorely needed to revitalise and carry forward the work of TBI, and anyone interested can find out more about what's involved by emailing Martin at   martin@pennyandmartin.co.uk .

A copy of Julian and Martin's presentation slides can be downloaded from the archived document library.
