FOOD VS PLANET - HGFP consultation/discussion on the Good Food Nation Plan

15 April 2024, Starts: 18:00, Ends: 19:30

Monday 15 April  6.00 - 7.30      online  by Zoom

Presented by Highland Good Food Partnership

Join us as we take a deep dive to explore and discuss the National GFN Plan through the lens of Production and Environment and what it could mean for us in the Scottish Highlands.

At this event the discussion focuses on Outcome 2 of the plan:

Scotland’s food system is sustainable and contributes to a flourishing natural environment. It supports our net zero ambitions, and plays an important role in maintaining and improving animal welfare and in restoring and regenerating biodiversity.

Can the Highlands really feed itself and meet climate targets? Is it possible to meet the many challenges facing our producers in a way that avoids conflict?

With thought-provoking speakers to spark our conversation, we're really looking forward to exploring the issues and hearing your thoughts.
