Preparing your exhibits – practical session

Entering the Show can seem a bit daunting If you haven’t done it before, or if there are things you’re not sure about.  We want to make it easy for people to enter the Show, so this year we’re holding a practical session about selecting and preparing fruit, veg and flowers for the showbench. It won’t be about how to grow giant onions or perfect begonias; it’s about things like choosing your four best tomatoes, how much stalk to leave on your gooseberries, how to mount pansies, how tall the stems on your cut flowers should be, and answering any questions you might have.

The session will last up to two hours, and we’ll run it twice on Wednesday 26^th July, at 2:00pm and again at 6:30pm, at Corntown near Conon Bridge.  If you’d like to come along, or have any questions, please get in touch and let us know whether you’d like to attend the afternoon or evening session.
