Free electric bike trials   Culbokie Community Trust write

We’re excited to be bringing back the e-bike loan scheme – and this time with two bikes, and for two months. We had great feedback from the folk who borrowed a bike in October, but a few people wanted to try one with their partner – and now they can!

Electric bikes are quite expensive, and some people feel they are cheating a bit, but there’s no denying they make hills much easier, and longer rides possible, and they’re also great fun. So this is a useful chance to try before your buy – perfect for anyone who is tempted, but not quite sure if it would suit them.

The loans are free, for up to three days. Contact cycling@culbokiect.org if you’re interested, letting us know when would suit you – any time before the end of May.

And thanks to Home Energy Scotland who lent the bikes to us.
