'Fossil-free Highlands' - Friends of the Earth Scotland
23 June 2021, Starts: 18:00
Adam Pellant of Assynt Development Trust has passed on an invitation from Sally Clark, Divestment Campaigner at FoE Scotland
We have arranged a first meeting for the Fossil Free Highlands campaign next Wednesday (23rd June) at 6pm and it would be wonderful if you might be able to come along.
Adam comments that the meeting will relate to finding a route for Highland Council to meet the divestment recommendation of the Scottish Government's Just Transition Commission that "The power of public sector pension funds [...] must be directed towards ensuring companies align with the just transition to net-zero".
If you would like to join this meeting email info@transitionblackisle.org for the Zoom link.
