Culbokie Guided Walk – Our Village and its Hidden History
01 August 2020, Starts: 14:30
Saturday 1 August 2.30
Join this Guided Walk to find out about Culbokie’s interesting history, places of interest and community hopes for the future. Hear about life before modern conveniences including the many shops along the main street and the big markets that took place in the village for around 200 years. You’ll hear tales of local feuds and fairies and learn about the ‘Culbokie Canteen’ and how Culbokie very nearly got a station!
You may also be interested to learn how the village developed from early times to the current day and how the A9 has affected the village. It’s free – but booking is essential so we can make sure we comply with social distancing rules.
To reserve a space contact info@culbokiect.org . We’ll run further walks if demand is sufficient.
