Subject: Interesting (and frightening) reading...

Hi

I've recently read this book (see link at the bottom) and thought/wondered if others were aware of it? I may be behind the times and you may already have read/discussed/dismissed it (delete as appropriate). I found it absolutely fascinating as it describes in plenty of detail what the world would be like without us. We've certainly made a hell of a mess of it.

In some respects it is reassuring to know that nature would reclaim some areas surprisingly quickly, in others though it is quite terrifying what we would leave behind.

I couldn't find the book referenced anywhere on the forum so hope I'm not repeating previous posts. I don't know whether TBI has a book swap scheme? I would be willing to lend the book if anyone is interested though it is available to buy online.

Cheers...

Sounds interesting, I hadn't heard about this. i'd be interested in borrowing it - although maybe not until the new year - there seems to be a big pile of unread stuff already!
