Just Eat It: A Food Waste story
Filmmakers and food lovers Jen and Grant dive into the issue of waste from farm, through retail, all the way to the back of their own fridge. After catching a glimpse of the amount of food and money that goes to waste, they pledge to quit food shopping and survive only on discarded food for six months. What they find is truly shocking.
The film will be followed by looking at what we can do about food waste from our own homes as the Highland Community Waste Partnership launch the Zero Food waste Challenge. We hear from Tarradale Primary School on the work they are doing to reduce waste at the school as well as from the Highland Good Food Partnership on community composting projects.
No booking required - this is a free event.
