Joint newsletter editor
Sheila is a long-time resident of Cromarty (and many other places before) and had a 'career' in Archaeology, Oilfield Geology, the Voluntary Conservation Sector (volunteer training and project management), and Scottish Natural Heritage (as Greening Officer, responsible for "making SNH a low-carbon organisation") as well as being a Trade Union Rep and Branch Official. Plus periods of self-employment & unemployment.
Sheila helped set up and was a Director of Cromarty Action for Young People (establishing the childcare centre and Youth Worker); and more recently became involved in TBI through helping-out at the Cromarty market (a great way to meet people and share stories) and gradually became more interested and involved in more of what TBI does, especially in the ideas & communications side (including co-editing the TBI newsletter).
Also currently active in the Cromarty History Society, the new Cromarty Community Development Trust; and has an elected Branch role in the Scottish Green Party. A new joy is rowing in the Cromarty skiff.
