Vice convenor

Wendy has been a key member of TBI since its inception in 2009.  She has always had a keen interest in the environment and initiated the first Friends of the Earth Group in Inverness in the 1970's.  Married and with one daughter she has lived on the outskirts of North Kessock for over 20 years.

She ran her own cartographic business from the early 80's till 2009, producing maps for a wide variety of public bodies including Visitscotland, SNH, and Cairngorms National Park, creating a unique style of hill shading used to good effect in many of Colin Baxter's publications.

Having now sold her business, when she is not involved with TBI or driving a
van for the Highland Hospice or cycling the Black Isle lanes she spends her
time climbing the hills she has so often mapped to see what they are like
for real.
