(not) Potato Day 2021

To answer queries beginning to arise about TBI’s annual Potato Day....given the current context, we have had to make the hard decision not to offer the event this year.

However we will be ordering in a (smaller) supply of seed tatties and will make those available through a network of ‘Tattie Hosts’ across the Black Isle, at the end of February/ beginning of March.  Look out for further detail nearer the time on the TBI website, Facebook and in our newsletter going out at the end of February.

Seed tatties will of course, we expect, be available at garden centres, B&Q, Dobbies,  MacDonald’s Hardware in Dingwall.  Check for online ordering if store is currently closed.  It’s also possible to order directly from specialist seed potato companies eg  SKEA Potato House

If you have seed (collected by yourself, or leftover from your use) that someone else could benefit from we would welcome it....we can package seeds into smaller packets and make them available alongside the seed tatties.

Please contact Lesley Robb on lar.robb@btinternet.com to arrange handover.
