oak gall ink page up, updates in the gallery section to. Gall wasps hatching soon so best time to collect galls.

Went up to the Stables in Cromarty last saturday and saw Tommy`s wonderful pictures made on vellum --- see TBI newsletter Feb 2014.
Some of the deer hides he uses are from roadkill.
I then had a go at a bit of drawing with oak gall ink--to think that these processes have been used long before people made paper or Mr Quink made ink.
Might have a go at the oak gall ink--looks like next month after the wasps have hatched is the time to try.
