| Neither of our apple trees at Redcastle have any signs of fruit on them - and my neighbour was also saying she has none. Has anyone else noticed a lack of fruit on apple trees and if so any idea why this might be?

| This article from Sharon Astyk ( http://www.energybulletin.net/print/61624 ) back in March, suggests that the mild start to the year followed by more seasonal weather in April ( ie frost ) might have had something to do with it. Maybe not.

| Just one of those years. No apples, good Czar plums, no Victorias and no greengages. |
