All welcome to an extra special BLACK ISLE REPAIR CAFE as part of the HIGHLAND CLIMATE FESTIVAL programme of events in September!  You will find the Repair Cafe volunteer team with their tools and repair stations along with refreshments in the Academy Theatre (please bring along your repairs on the day).

We are also delighted to welcome along ALPKIT who specialise in outdoor gear.  They will be able to help with some light repairs on the day and if they can't repair at the time, they'll be able to advise best on how to do this (more info to follow on this). 

In the Library space there will be a book sale, kids activities and some pre-loved tables sales. 

We are also delighted to have Jana from RED HUT FURNITURE joining us and she will be running some drop-in button covering workshops.  If you'd like to find out how to jazz up your sofa, comfy chair or jacket/coat then she'll be showing you how to do this with buttons.  She will provide everything but do bring along your own fabric if you have something in mind. 

Free entry and all repairs and refreshments are by donation. The Black Isle Repair Cafe encourages the use of reusables so you're very welcome to bring along your own mug for coffee/tea.

Everyone is welcome - even if you don't have an item to repair to bring along, pop in see what it's all about.
