Invitation to TBI and Black Isle Tourism members for our Spring Event

Black Isle Tourism has revitalised itself after two years of Covid and is delighted to invite you to a morning focussed on marketing the Black Isle as an area for Slow Tourism and Active Travel.

The new Black Isle map - a map for locals and visitors exploring by foot, bike, bus and car, a joint venture of Black Isle Tourism and Transition Black Isle - will be launched at this event and become available to Black Isle Tourism members.  To complement the map, a 24 page booklet promoting slow tourism on the Black Isle will also be launched, and will be available to members.

Black Isle Tourism’s events provide an informal atmosphere to exchange your own brochures and to talk to other members.  We will be encouraging new members to join, and for our current members to renew their subscriptions.  Our membership fees for this year, stay at the pre-covid rate of £40.00.

The meeting also provides the start of a series of public consultations on the Black Isle Place Plan being developed in 2023 - 'Opportunity Black Isle'. Tourism has to be an important element of the Plan and we are delighted that Nick Wright, the consultant funded by Highland Council to deliver the Plan, will facilitate the discussions.

Refreshments will be provided.
