Fairtrade Fortnight - Second week to 12 March

Fairtrade Fortnight

This Fairtrade Fortnight, join us in spreading a simple message:

making the small switch to Fairtrade supports producers in protecting the future of some of our most-loved food and the planet.

Did you know?

Coffee, bananas and chocolate could soon be much more difficult to buy.

Climate change is making crops like these harder and harder to grow. Combined with deeply unfair trade, communities growing these crops are being pushed to the brink.

But here’s the good news.

More people choosing Fairtrade means extra income, power and support for those communities.

By making the small switch to Fairtrade, we can all support producers in protecting the future of some of our most-loved food and the planet.

From Fairtrade Inverness

Fairtrade – a way to support those who have done the least to cause Climate Change but are most impacted by it. Fairtrade brings Social Justice into the Environmental arena.

Let’s all buy a Fairtrade product  to help people to help themselves and cope with  the climate related issues they face.  Whether it’s a flowers for our homes or a cup of tea at a club / society we belong to – a walking club, a gardening group, birdwatching, sailing, cycling, photography - Fairtrade is a positive way to make a difference to people’s lives.
