North Highlands and Islands Climate Hub

Learn about the grant funding we offer and how you can apply to support your projects.

We asked what the biggest issues established and emerging community groups face when it comes to getting projects off the ground. The overwhelming response was that funding is tricky.

In response, we created the North Highlands and Islands Community Climate Action Fund which offers grant funding of £500 for individual applications and up to £1000 for collaborative applications.

We took on board what you said about the application process and have tried to keep it as straightforward and quick as possible. We don’t like to blow our own trumpet but, we try our best to respond to applications quickly and can have grants to successful applicants within days of application.

To help us better communicate the North Highlands and Islands Community Climate Action Fund, we’re hosting two online FREE events on Thursday 10th November.  An afternoon session from 2-3pm and an evening session from 7-8pm.  All welcome to either session to learn more about the funding we offer, hear from previous applicants on how their grants supported their climate action project and of course, ask questions to see if your project meets the application criteria.

In addition to offering our own small grant fund, our experienced Development Officers can support your group to identify and apply for other funding opportunities too, you can contact us here to discuss, or ask about it at the event(s) on the 10th November.

Book for afternoon session 2.00 - 3.00
