Scotland's Climate Assembly weekend five

21 February 2021

Weekend Five of Scotland's Climate Assembly takes place this weekend on the 20th and 21st February.

Members will hear a small amount of new evidence this weekend, but will spend most of their time in discussion and review.

New evidence: On Saturday afternoon, Members will hear Chris Stark of the Climate Change Committee speak on ambition and costs.  On Sunday morning, they will hear a review of the recent government Climate Change Plan update.

Review: Looking back over the previous weekends, Members will have another opportunity to question a 'carousel' of experts on a multitude of topics.  They will do this in their discussion groups, within the same streams as Weekends 3 and 4.  A final task will be to discuss and agree on the Assembly's decision-making process.  The remainder of the weekend will be spent in deliberation.

Explore the Evidence:  Videos go live throughout the weekend

The evidence so far presented to the Assembly is all available to watch on our website and YouTube channel.  Videos from this weekend's meeting will go live on our YouTube channel throughout the weekend.
