BIHS Plant and Produce Sale and Soup Lunch CANCELLED

23 May 2020

Owing to the Covid-19 situation, this event is cancelled.

Graham Sullivan, BIHS Secretary, writes

"Following the success of last year’s Plant & Produce Sale and Soup Lunch, we’ll be holding another one this year. It will be on Saturday 23rd May from 11:30 to 1:30, in Avoch Church Hall, Rose Street. That’s still three months away, and we’ll send out a reminder later, but in the meantime can you think about whether you might have anything that you can donate to our stalls?  If you can pot up any surplus plants, or raise some extra seedlings that we can sell, they’ll be very welcome, as will donations of baking and preserves, and prizes for the raffle. This is an important fund-raising event for the Society.

"Please let me know if you’re able to help - and please come along to the event and let your family and friends know about it.  There will be a choice of soups with bread, and cakes to follow.  There's always an interesting selection of plants grown by interested gardeners, including some unusual ones.

"We’ll send a reminder nearer to the date with further details, but if you have any queries, please get in touch."
