One Planet Picnic Saturday 1 July 2017

02 July 2017

A satisfying number of people of all ages enjoyed a communal picnic on the links at Cromarty on Saturday, organised by Catriona Mallows of 2050 Climate Group as part of a Keep Scotland Beautiful Initiative called 'One Planet Picnic', which seeks to educate people about sustainable food produce and reducing food waste.

Plenty of wholesome and healthy food was provided, supplemented by contributions from many of those attending.  The sun shone now and then, a cruise ship passed by on its way out from Invergordon, and everybody seemed to have a good time.
