| Went up to the Stables in Cromarty last saturday and saw Tommy`s wonderful pictures made on vellum --- see TBI newsletter Feb 2014.
Some of the deer hides he uses are from roadkill.
I then had a go at a bit of drawing with oak gall ink--to think that these processes have been used long before people made paper or Mr Quink made ink.
Might have a go at the oak gall ink--looks like next month after the wasps have hatched is the time to try. | |
