St Boniface Fair Fortrose

10 August 2017, Starts: 13:00, Ends: 16:00

Cathedral Square   1.00 - 4.00

"This annual fair is an attempt to recreate an 18th century Burgh Fair. It was in 1977, the Queen's Silver Jubilee year, that a group of enterprising residents had the idea of recreating a fair and to have the stall holders in costume to create atmosphere.

Stalls sell local food stuff- vegetables fruits and animal products from the homestead, croft or small farm. There are local crafts of pottery, woodwork, jewellery and a variety of items made from cloth. You may also find sweet treats and love potions!"
